8 GB - MPN: SD48GB
Strengths: Works, 8GB is a lot of memory, compared to the standard 2GB
Weakness: Incompatible with older Multiformat readers
Works great with what is compatible with it, that is recent readers, cameras, etc. Forget about using you 1-year old multiformat or laptop-integrated-SD reader. You're warned about compatibility issues though, so at least there is no surprise there. You would think it would only be a driver update, but it's not.
Works great on my Nokia N800 (which is what I bought it for), but only after a firmware upgrade and with the Canon Powershot A720IS

TopStrengths: -High speed -Great price -Quality, reputable brand -Results in long recording time -Compact -Rebate from Adorama
Weakness: -Not the most inexpensive option
I recently purchased a Panasonic HDC-SD5 High-Def digital camcorder for the arrival of our new baby. I bought 2 of these SD cards (2x 8GB) from Adorama. They are great, resulting in 1 hour and 25 minutes of record time each. It was more than the Panasonic manual stated (1hr 15min).
So far so good!

TopStrengths: Lots of memory
Weakness: none
I recently purchased Cannon S-5 power shot digital camera which has very less internal memory card.
So I bought this with which I can take many photos.
It's good deal.

TopStrengths: Reliable performance, fast enough for video (MPEG4) recorder by Santo Xacti HD700
Weakness: Though work out of the box, it wasn't stable until I format it from the camcorder I was using.
First I wonder if Class4 SDHC would be fast enough for my MPEG4 camcorder: Sanyo Xacti HD700. Pricewise, it is about the same as other brands' Class6 (Class6 (about 6 MB/sec) is faster than class4 (about 4 MB/sec)). Still, I own several Kingston media, and they works fine. I made the mistake by not formatting this SDHC first -- it was recognized by my Sanyo Xacti HD700 out of the box, and it seemed to work fine so I thought. Until I was about half full, it started to ask me to format the card since it couldn't be accessed. I later upload all the videos and format the card using my camcorder, which solves all the problems I have had. I can't speak for other devices. So far, it works great. I have never had any problems with the speed of the card to be too slow or anything. Beware, this is SDHC (high-capacity secure digital card), so make sure that you devices (camera, camcorder, media readers and etc.) support it before investing in one. For space hungry video captures or high pixels pictures, the 8 GB SDHC will give you plenty of room -- well, I am looking for 16 GB. when it becomes more affordable. This exceptional price / performance feature of SDHC is one key elements that I prioritize when buying new devices (i.e digital camera.)

TopStrengths: Fast
Weakness: None
I have been using this card with my Garmin 650 and Dell axim x51v and in both case it just works like a charm. I put some movies and mp3 in it and it's pretty fast. I got average of 4-5 MBps with a card reader so it's well above the calss 4 specification. Great card. Highly recommended.

TopStrengths: 8GB capacity, Kingston quality
Weakness: not the fastest
This is a very useful size card to capture video on some of the recent high-megapixel cameras (i use it with the Canon SD800) that dont capture in MPEG4 format leaing to fairly large video sizes. works well with my camera. could be a bit faster (when transferring to computer) but no complaints for the price.

TopStrengths: High storage and speed
Weakness: None
Perfect for my new camcorder panasonic model sdr-s10p1. At least 4 hour of video with no loss of data. Using a regular SD card the image freeze sometimes. Panasonic recomends SDHC class 2 or more, with this Kingston 8Gb SDHC class 4 I am safe to film end of year holidays.

TopStrengths: 8 GB, inexpensive
Weakness: none
The price is what attracted me to this 8 GB card. It has worked perfect so far.
Perfect complement to your digital camera and/or Palm. Plenty of space for your pictures and data. Great quality for a very affordable price.

TopStrengths: Large size (8 GB). High quality.
Weakness: Speed may be a little slow for some uses (class 4).
I bought this card because I\\\'ve had good experience with Kingston flash memory products in the past. This product is no different, although I wish it were a little faster (it takes a while to copy several GBs of data). Aside from that, I\\\'m pleased with this purchase. Note that this card will *only* work in a SDHC-compatible Secure Digital device, so double-check before you buy.

TopStrengths: high capacity
Weakness: none
This sdhc card is economical for the amount of memory you get. Just make sure your device is compatible with sdhc--not all sd compatible devices can read sdhc. This card is reliable, and I have not had any problems with it. This card comes in class 2, 4, & 6 which is based on write speed. I am using class 4 and have not had any lags in speed.

Works great!
Strengths: Works flawlessly. Sufficently fast speed.
Weakness: Class 6 is faster
I needed to buy a SD-HC card for my new HD camcorder. I've had great experiences with Kingston flash memory cards before so I purchased another one. I've used it for the past 2 weeks and it has worked flawlessly in its recordings and its transfers.
