Review: As with all nikon pro glass the construction build is of great quality. It is durable and easy to handle. The lens zooms really smoothly. Lens is extremely sharp especially in the center focus areas. The bokeh is wonderful at the wide apertures. The only true negative as usual, is the high price, almost twice more expensive than its Canon counterpart.

Strengths: Bokeh and more bokeh, tack sharp above 2.0
Weaknesses: Chromatic aberation present below 2.0, a bit soft wide open, deceptively heavy, even for an L series lens, slow AF

It opens to f/1.2, but more importantly, its sharp well before 2.0, so even with lots of bokeh, it remains very sharp. The 85mm focal length is also perfect for portraits imo. An expensive lens with really good quality
Strengths: Can take very good portraits. Color is very rich and bright.
Weaknesses: Price is too high. Get fuzzy pictures easily in a slightly dark place.(no feature of stabilizer)
Review: It is definitely an excellent lens. Sometimes I encounter back focus problem and I guess it is because the focus spot is too dark. Other than that, the color is incredibly bright and rich. No post-processing required.
