Review: The Nikon Action Series 10x50 Binoculars are a great buy for the price. At 10x, they are very strong. A 50mm objective lens guaruntees a nice bright image. They are also very easy to use, and easy to focus. The image quality is superb. The one down side is that sometimes they begin to fog up in humid weather. However at ~$80 they are a great buy. Overall, I would purchase again.

Great value, high powered, binoculars
Strengths: Zoom is great since it allows a wider field to locate while providing the capability to easily zoom to a very high power. Gathers a lot of light.
Weaknesses: Large, clunky and a little heavy. The focus at the highest zoom power does not provide crystal clarity.
Review: This set of binoculars is a great value for the money. Through the use of the zoom it is easier to locate an object and magnify it to a very large size. Although they are large it is necessary to gather the amount of light necessary to make the objects easily seen - even in lower light conditions.

Review: I am a ferry captain and do not like using the cheap company supplied binoculars. Too often they get dropped and become unreliable, not to forget to mention, they are touched by too many hands, are never where I want them when I need them, and are usually out of focus for me.

Review: This are the best binoculars I ever owned. It's light to handle, it has really good coated optics. I tested a few other brands, but this set worked out the best for me. I like the zoom feature as opposed to some other binoculars without zoom. In short, these are the best binoculars for the money :o)

Weaknesses: Heavier and longer than the other Monarch binoculars. Poor lens covers.
Review:  This binoculars has all of the winning features of the highly-reviewed Nikon Monarch 8x42. Great image quality, no distortion, fogproof and waterproof, and great ergonomics. It is also not that much more expensive than the 8x42. At about $300 street (compared to $250 for the 8x42), you're getting a lot of glass for the money. I was deciding between buying this or the Nikon Monarch 8x42....
